What the hell?


There was a magazine for teens called Sassy in 1978? With Brooke Shields on the cover? How could I not have known this until now? I was an actual teenager in 1978. I hate to say that out loud.

    I found a few of these when I was looking for back issues of Sassy on E-bay. I was very confused. If it's not in wikipedia, how could it have existed?

    I had all of those Sassys!!! One had Kristy McNichol on the cover and I think there was a Valerie Bertinelli one too. There were only a few. The styling was really really good, but that's all I remember about it.

    Yeah, people always try to sell them on eBay for ridiculous jacked-up prices, kind of like the hideous imposter Sassy that showed up in my mailbox one awful day when I was sixteen.
