Verizon Catch-22

I just got the most hilarious text from Verizon. They are allegedly coming to fix my internet connection this morning. "Please check your repair status at fioshelp.verizon.com." As far as they know, I have no frickin' internet service! Verizon knows nothing of "Birdy" and his/her unintentional web largess. Or do they?

    They were probably assuming you were a)at a workplace or b)had a SmartPhone.

    I have no workplace, and I'm too cheap to buy a SmartPhone.
