Thank you times 1000, from someone who works retail and has to be at work at 1am Friday morning so people can by useless crap at higher prices than earlier in the week. It's an absolutely insane mess, and if I did not have to, I would not be leaving the house. Sad commentary on the state of priorities in our society.
I so agree with you, Christina! The greed of the corporate stores and general popular insanity is so depressing. We were talking with a supermarket checker today who has to work on Thanksgiving. Her take? "It's all greed, that's all it is!" So I'm with you -- and not participating either. My husband and I agreed today that we're staying out of stores until after the holidays.
